We made it St. Augustine, Florida and lasting warm weather, and that is a wonderful thing! Then we joined a gym for exercise and access to showers, as many digital nomads do. Later we decided to walk around the Historic District.

Cara thought this fountain was cool and unique.

ree
The fountain is one symbol of the connection between St. Augustine, Florida and Aviles, Spain, where the founder of St. Augustine was born.

ree
We couldn't resist the savory Elote Street Corn Waffle from Whips. It was totally unique and delicious.

ree
We walked and chilled along the waterfront (of the Matanzas River).

ree
Cara thought she saw the sails of a big sailing ship in the distance, so we had to go check it out.

ree
It was a very cool ship that is open for tours, and we could see people on board presumably getting ready for the next day's tours.

ree
We also encountered this cool outdoor music spot right in the heart of the historic district. We were drawn in by hearing the band play a nice rendition of "The Devil Went Down To Georgia".
