11/16-11/17/2024, Saturday-Sunday - Weekend at St. Augustine Beach

On Saturday we moved over to St. Augustine Beach to recharge Pearl's power stations.

While working outdoors at a coffee shop Cara heard a loud rustling nearby her. She looked over to see that, less than a car's length from her, this amazing hawk had swooped down, picked up a snake, and flew back up to its perch.

Cara doesn't want to know what type of snake it was, but she was thankful for this beautiful bird saving her from it.

We had a delicious lunch at a nice spot with good vibes. We like the more bohemian vibes of St. Augustine Beach.

Cara was happy to find a nice vegetarian sandwich on homemade gluten-free bread!

They have these flags for pedestrians to carry at each crosswalk on A1A, and you definitely need them based on the drivers here, even with the flashing lights to signal pedestrians crossing.

This is the view from the public pier at St. Augustine Beach.
