8/12/2024, Monday - Slow Roll bike ride in Buffalo

Every Monday interested bikers meetup at 6:30 to cruise around Buffalo. They go at a very slow pace and they name the ride "slow roll". It is well organized with a lot of volunteers in matching shirts. They block traffic so the group can stay together. We do a similar ride in Indianapolis called Bike Party. The two events are very different. The ride in Buffalo is sanctioned and permitted by the cops. They roll in a port - o - let and do everything the respectable way. In Indianapolis, Bike party is just a big ride and there are no volunteers, and very little planning. It is just a pop up ride with no permission or permits needed.

We did 3 loops back to where we started and took a short break in between each one

You could buy tokens and then use these tokens to buy beer, food, sweets, etc. It was an organized event that happens each Monday
