We rode our bikes from downtown to Mississippi Avenue. This is a really cool street filled with shops and restaurants and bars. Once a year they have the street festival which is one of the big ones in Portland. The streets are lined for a mile with stands on both sides. They said about 40 bands played with plenty of ad hoc street performances

At the end of the night we watched a band called Steppin Out. They are a 3 man band that does not sing, but reimagines rock songs instrumentally. At the end of the show there was a wedding proposal that we caught on the GoPro.
