4-22-2017 Techno Party at Driftwood

After a Saturday filled with laundry and other household chores, we headed over to Driftwood Beach Bar & Pizza Shack for a
Sisimito Sessions night of techno/house music.

It had rained earlier and looked like it might rain again, but thankfully it did not.

We came to hear our friend (a DJ that plays all over the world) Uwe K!

Uwe played from 6 to 9pm, and his set was very nice.

Eric tried an artsy photo here.

One person set up a slack line between two palapas. It's hard to see here, but that yellow strap is the line, and it is maybe an
inch or so wide.

Others played volleyball.

Balance vs. Timing

The party may have started off slow, but people kept coming and it picked up.

Eric got recruited by Wilson to help get the bonfire going - he asked the right person, because Eric LOVES starting bonfires.

And a nice fire it was!

It may seem hard to believe that anyone would want a bonfire in Belize (because it's so hot here already, you know), but it
can cool off a little at night (into the 70s, lol), and the warmth of the bonfire really felt good. (Cara has acclimatized, so low
70s usually means long pants and bring a jacket, just in case.)
