9-1-2018 the greatest Blues Fest Ever

This was a great blues festival because it was free + you could bring your own food and cooler + great bands and good friends.

The bands started at 7, but we got there at 6 to get good seats.  We missed the Friday night lineup and only got to go on Saturday.

On Friday I heard that Brandon “Taz” Niederauer really did a great job.  I am going to have to check him out on YouTube

Saturday, September 1 | 7 PM

  • Blues Ambassadors
  • Bridget Kelly Band
  • Mike Milligan & Steam Shovel
  • Robert Cray Band
On Saturday I think that the Bridget Kelly Band was super good....look them up on YouTube.  Of course the big name band was Robert Cray.  He didn't disappoint and had a very commanding stage presence.

You can see how sparce it was for the first band

This was a very good local old school blues band

Bridgett of the Bridgett Kelly Band came around and talked to us.  They came from Florida and really rocked it out.

I had to get one sunset and a picture of my friend Brian filming the band

This shows a fraction of the crowd

The third band was also very good

Then came Robert Cray and a lot of people just came for this

He was a strong persuader
